Shura chairman receives French Ambassador

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, received here today the newly-appointed French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jérôme Cauchard. The Shura chairman expressed pride in the advanced level reached by the Bahraini-French relations across various fields. He affirmed the Shura Council’s support for extending bridges of cooperation and coordination with the Legislative Branch in friendly France at international parliamentary gatherings, wishing the envoy every success in performing his duties. Ambassador Cauchard expressed pride in meeting the Shura Council Chairman, stressing his keenness to enhance the Bahraini-French relations. He wished Bahrain ever-lasting progress and prosperity.
