Shura Chairman receives Japanese ambassador

Manama, June 2 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received the newly appointed Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Miyamoto Masayuki. The meeting reviewed the Shura Council role as legislative branch under the leadership of His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and its support for security and stability goals based on tolerance, coexistence and the care of human rights. Shura chairman praised the deep relations between Bahrain and Japan, and the development witnessed by both countries in various fields. The ambassador praised the development and progress witnessed by the Kingdom in many fields, noting the advanced measures taken to deal with the coronavirus pandemic and the highly developed services it provided to all citizens and residents, stressing on continuing cooperation and strengthening relations between the two countries and wishing Bahrain further progress, growth and development.
