Shura Chairman receives Tunisian Ambassador

Manama, June 13 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, today received the newly-appointed Tunisian Ambassador to Bahrain, Kamal Al-Qizani. The Shura Chairman expressed pride in the distinguished level reached by the brotherly Bahraini-Tunisian relations thanks to the keenness of the two countries’ leaderships to enhance them across various fields. Al-Saleh stressed the importance of strengthening joint legislative cooperation in order to support issues of mutual interest at Arab and international gatherings, wishing the ambassador every success in assuming his diplomatic duties. The Tunisian envoy lauded the key role played by the Shura Council in developing the democratic process in the Kingdom of Bahrain, expressing deep pride in the high-level efforts exerted by Bahrain to combat the novel Coronavirus, in accordance with the highest international health and medical standards. He praised the care enjoyed by the members of the Tunisian expatriate community in Bahrain, expressing hope that bilateral parliamentary relations and exchange of expertise will be developed in a way that would achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly countries.
