Shura Chairman receives US Chargé d'Affairs

Manama, July 5 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received US Chargé d'Affairs ​​Ethan Goldrich, and Tina Suleiman, the US embassy's political official. Al Saleh affirmed that the strong historical relations between Bahrain and the United States are witnessing development and cooperation in various fields such as military, defense, educational, health, economic sectors, and other vital and important fields. He praised the depth of these ties that extend for decades, and the keenness of the two leaderships to push those relations towards broader horizons. Shura chairman noted the role played by the United States in maintaining the security and stability of the region. Al Saleh also affirmed the council’s keenness to enhance cooperation in the field of legislative work in a way that supports bilateral interests, and contribute to supporting various issues of common interest in international parliamentary forums, wishing the United States and its people further progress and prosperity.
