Shura Council chairman condoles over assassinated officer

Manama, Jan. 30 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh has expressed condolences to Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, over the late 1st Lieutenant Hesham Hassan Al Hammadi who was shot to death in Bilad Al Qadeem area. He also expressed his sincere condolences to the Ministry's affiliates and the family of the officer who was assassinated by terrorists. Al Saleh strongly denounced the act of terrorism which runs counter to the teachings of all heavenly religions and humanitarian norms and values. He condemned such heinous crimes that violate the sanctity of human blood, affirming the Council's solidarity with the Interior Ministry in all the measures it takes to maintain the country's security and stability. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the fallen officer in eternal peace and to bestow solace and patience on his family, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain perpetual safety from all mischief and more security and stability under its wise leadership.
