Shura Council chairman hails Bahrain-Egypt historic ties

Manama, Jun 29 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh hailed the positive outcome of the talks between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He highlighted the agreements and memoranda of understanding wgucg were signed, reflecting mutual keenness on consolidating strategic relations across all fields. He noted the crucial importance of the visits of HM King Hamad and President El-Sisi, which contribute to expanding joint cooperation and bolstering partnership, including investments, the volume of trade exchanges and financial cooperation. Al Saleh highlighted both leaders’ keenn interest accorded to regional and international development as well as mounting challenges facing countries in the region. He lauded the meeting which was held between His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and President El-Sisi, which will further support cooperation. He highlighted the importance of exchanging high-level visits to further build partnerships and spearhead political, economic and investment cooperation.
