Shura Council condemns Iran's targeting of KSA

Manama, Sept. 29 (BNA): The Shura Council condemned the Iranian interference and continuous attempts to target the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It reiterated support to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s steadfast stance to stand by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against any attack threatening its security and stability, as it is also a threat to regional peace and security. The Shura Council lauded the achievement made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after its success in arresting a terror cell whose members were receiving military training by the Revolutionary Guard in Iran on making explosives. A large quantity of weapons and explosives were found hidden in a home and a farm. The Shura Council praised the high competence and vigilance of the security bodies in KSA, stressing that Iran’s hostile behavior requires a firm stance at all levels, mainly amidst clear targeting of the safety of innocent people, which contravenes the principles of good neighborliness stipulated by the UN charter and confirmed by the international legitimacy.
