Shura Council condemns Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque

Manama, May 9 (BNA): Shura Council has condemned strongly the Israeli forces attack on worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque in the past days. The Council stressed that Israelis need to stop such unacceptable behaviors against the people of Jerusalem and work to protect them from any attacks. It affirmed Bahrain’s position against deporting Jerusalem’s citizens from their homes and the deplorable plans to impose Israeli sovereignty over them. The Shura noted that these plans contravene international legitimacy resolutions, limit efforts and opportunities to spread peace in the region and undermine efforts to achieve security and stability.
