Shura Council denounces terrorist Houthi militia’s targeting of Saudi refinery

Manama, Mar. 19 (BNA): The Shura Council has denounced the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia’s targeting of the Riyadh-based oil refinery by drones, stressing that the attack is a systematic hostile action that reflects these militias' insistence on targeting energy security and facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement, the Shura Council condemned the terrorist Houthi militia’s continuous breach of the international and humanitarian laws, through targeting civilians, reiterating Bahrain’s firm stance in solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support of the measures it takes to protect its lands, and safeguard its security and stability. The Shura Council called on the International Community to assume its responsibilities and condemn such terrorist and criminal acts that pose a threat to sisterly Saudi Arabia’s security and stability, and put regional peace at risk.
