Shura Council president lauds Bahraini women’s strides

Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh congratulated Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) and marking the annual Bahraini Women’s Day, which falls on the 1st of December, being held this year under the theme “Bahrain women in the fields of higher education and future sciences". He hailed Bahrai women’s crucial role in all fields and marked participation in in local and international arenas, which reflects their honourable standing and contributes to enhancing their pioneering edge. The Shura Council president paid tribute to HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, hailing her dedicated efforts to enhance Bahraini women’s status, protect her rights and dignity. He also commend the SCW-efforts, led by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
