Shura Council's First Deputy Chairman meets Indonesian Deputy Speaker

Manama, May 24 (BNA): First Deputy Chairman of Shura Council Jamal Mohammed Fakhro received Indonesian Regional Representative Council Deputy Speaker Nuno Sambono. Fakhro praised the historical Bahraini-Indonesian relations, noting that the strong bilateral ties came thanks to the leaderships of the two friendly countries, and their keenness to achieve growth at all levels. The first deputy chairman said that Indonesia has a democratic and long experience in the legislative field, pointing out that Bahrain’s parliament is keen on strengthening cooperation, which contributes to unifying positions and opinions on common issues, especially in international forums. The Indonesian deputy speaker praised Shura Council’s role in promoting the democratic experience in the Kingdom, and its numerous legislative achievements.
