Shura president condemns twin terrorist attacks in Tunisia

Manama, June 28 (BNA): Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh sent a cable of condolences to the Speaker of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People Mohammed Al-Nasser over the victims ot the twin suicide explosions, which targeted the security forces in the capital, Tunis, leaving one officer dead and eight other policemen and civilians injured. He strongly condemned the twin terrorist attacks which contravene all religious precepts, customary rules and human values, targeting innocent people’s lives. The Shura Council president reiterated solidarity with Tunisia in combating the scourge of terrorism, backing all measures and steps being undertaken to protect its security and stability. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the victims in eternal peace, bless their bereaved relatives with solace and fortitude and the injured with quick recovery and protect Tunisia and its brotherly people from any harm. The Shura Council president also sent a similar cable of condolences to Tunisian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Slim Al-Gheriani.
