Sixth Book of Rumi’s Masnavi rendered into Russian

TEHRAN,June 23(MNA) – The Sixth Book of the Masnavi-ye Manavi, the immortal masterpiece of the Persian mystic and poet Molana Jalal ad-Din Rumi (1207-1273), has recently been translated and published in the Russian language. The book was translated by a team of translators led by Russian Orientalist A. A. Khismatullin. The book has been published by the Institute of Oriental Studies in St. Petersburg with the help of Iran’s Cultural Attaché’s Office in Moscow. Iran’s Cultural Attaché’s Office also plans to publish the entire six volumes of the Masnavi-ye Manavi in Russian in collaboration with the Economic Cooperation Organization’s Cultural Institute.
