S.Leader Urges Economists To Offer Feasible Policies For Enforcing Resistance Economy
Tehran, March 12, IRNA – Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Tuesday called on officials in charge to strive for presenting feasible economic policies while trying to remove impediments on the way of economic activities.
Addressing a group of economic officials, Ayatollah Khamenei said sessions for coordinating economic policies would be helpful in implementing resistance economy, while expediting the country’s progress and movement towards materialization of the lofty aspirations of the Islamic establishment.
Commenting on various policies implemented in the country over the past years, Ayatollah Khamenei said the policies served as roadmaps for any sector. However, as far as general policies of the resistance economy are concerned, the goal is to present roadmaps and offer necessary and right guidelines.
The Ayatollah said the whole package of the resistance economy is in fact an indigenized and scientific model, stemming from the revolutionary and Islamic culture in proportion with the present and future conditions of the country.
The Supreme Leader said the resistance economy policies are not limited to the present time but rather serve as a long-term policies for attaining the lofty goals of the Islamic Revolution.
On dynamic nature of the resistance economy, the Supreme Leader said the policies can be completed to concord with various conditions, practically making the national economy flexible and removing vulnerability of the economy under different conditions.
Among other important features of the resistance economy is solidarity among all branches of government and organs because the pattern is brought about in light of collective views of thinkers and experts in the Expediency Council.
The resistance economy is not limited to Iran rather many countries have adopted such an economic model in recent years with respect to global economic crisis./end
