Smooth polling process praised by citizens

Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): Voters at the various polling and sorting stations agreed that the tremendous cooperation between citizens and the staff of the polling stations was the principal cause behind the smooth flow of the polling process culminating in the most unprecedented successful elections in Bahrain’s modern democratic history. Mariam Bushalaf from Muharraq’s first constituency praised the staff of the polling station for their role in the smooth flow of the ballot casting process. There was no abnormal incident, she said, adding that it was an aesthetic experience as she votes for the first time by electing the people’s parliamentary representatives (MPs), she told Bahrain News Agency (BNA). Bushalaf expressed her gratitude to the Kingdom of Bahrain in providing the opportunity for the citizens to elect the people’s representatives to the National Assembly, wishing the new parliament success in serving the Kingdom interest and the citizens’ aspirations. Fatima Al Kaabi also from the first constituency in Muharraq governorate praised the good organisation of the polls process and its smooth flow thanks to the cooperation on the part of the citizens culminating in the successfulness of the elections in the interest of the homeland and citizens. Al Kaabi also expressed her hope that the new council will carry out its mission in the best and flawless manner. Abdulrahman Al Mussali from the fifth constituency of Muharrfaq praised the smooth flow of the elections process in Muharraq Club general polling station where he went to cast his ballot. He ascribed the smooth process to the awareness of the citizens and the efficiency of the staff manning the polling station who are carrying out their duty in the ideal manner. Al Mussali expressed his hope that the new council will undertake its duties and communicate the citizens’ voice to the relevant departments in the interest of the homeland and citizens.
