Smuggle attempt foiled

Manama, May 8 (BNA): General Director of Bahrain International Airport Police announced on Monday the arrest of a number of suspects implicated in attempting to smuggle an Asian with a travel ban and wanted by the Interpol out of the country. He said that an investigation was launched after the department was tipped-off about the case, in which the main suspect offered a bribe to a policeman working at the airport. The main suspect and his accomplices were caught red-handed and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
