SOCAR exported over 2 m t of oil from Ceyhan port in October, 2012

Baku, November 8 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s state oil firm, SOCAR, has said it transported 2.014.671 million tons of oil in October from the Turkish port of Ceyhan. The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan accounted for 1.588.490 tons of this volume. According to the company, SOCAR exported 24.443.906 tons of oil in January-October from Ceyhan into the world market. From the very beginning of BTC pipe operation from mid-2006 to 1st November 2012 export from Ceyhan totalled 198.461.934 tons of Azeri oil.
