Social Development Minister receives British Ambassador

Manama, July 7 (BNA): Social Development Minister Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor received British Ambassador Roderick Drummond. The minister praised the historical friendship relations between Bahrain and the UK, reviewing topics of common interest. He expressed his aspiration towards more opportunities for cooperation and exchange of expertise in a way that supports the interests of the two countries and their peoples in the fields of development, care, protection and social rehabilitation. The ambassador affirmed the keenness to continue efforts to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, to consolidate their historical relations of friendship and cooperation.
