Social Development Minister receives UN Coordinator

Manama, Sept. 7 (BNA): Social Development Minister Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor received the Bahrain United Nations (UN) Activities Coordinator Khalid El Mekwad. The meeting reviewed cooperation between the ministry and the UN programs related to social development. The two sides discussed social and developmental topics The minister stressed the ministry's keenness to enhance cooperation to achieve common goals. He highlighted Bahrain's efforts in enhancing the protection and social welfare system.
