Solid Bahraini-Egyptian relations hailed

Manama, Jan. 9 (BNA): First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, Jamal Mohammed Fakhro, received here today the newly-appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, Yasser Shaaban. Fakhro lauded the solid fraternal Bahraini-Egyptian ties, which, he said, have reached advanced levels in various fields thanks to the interest of their leaderships and keenness of their peoples to attain common achievements. He underlined the Shura Council’s keenness to deepen cooperation and coordination with Egypt, through exchanging legislative expertise and unifying stances and visions vis-à-vis Arab and Islamic issues. Ambassador Shaaban praised the role played by the Shura Council to discuss bills aimed at enhancing the strong bilateral relations, adding that bridges of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and peoples will be extended further.
