South Korea’s National Assembly Speaker visits Bahrain National Museum

Manama, Feb. 15 (BNA): Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Park Byeong-seug, today visited the Bahrain National Museum, along with a South Korean parliamentary delegation. Director-General of Culture and Arts, Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, and Museums Director at the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, welcomed the delegation upon arrival. Members of the delegation toured the museum’s halls, and permanent exhibitions. They were also briefed about the museum’s galleries, sections, artifacts and artistic models documenting the most prominent features of the civilisations that have passed through the Kingdom of Bahrain throughout its long history. They expressed their admiration for the distinguished level of the museum and the collectibles it contains, embodying the cultural depth of Bahrain and its people, praising the museum’s distinguished method of displaying artifacts in a manner similar to those adopted by the world-renowned museums.
