South Korean National Assembly Speaker hails Bahrain’s development strides

Manama, Feb.16 (BNA): South Korean National Assembly Speaker Speaker Park Byeong-seug has today left Bahrain, wraping up an official visit to the Kingdom. He was seen off at the airport by Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, in the presence of First Deputy Speaker Mp. Abdulnabi Salman, Mp. Mahmoud Al Bahrani. Mp. Mohammed Al Sisi, Mp Mohammed Bouhammoud, Council of Representatives Secretary General General Chancellor Rashid Mohammed Bounejma and South Korean Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Hae Kwan Chung. The South Korean Speaker hailed solid bilateral relations binding the two countries, lauding the wise farsighted vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to promote joint cooperation and achieve peace, stability and prosperity. He praised Bahrain’s landmark strides, in light of the wide-ranging development march and the 2030 Bahrain Economic Vision, which represents an advanced model. He said that he was honoured to meet His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, The Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The South Korean Speaker praised Bahrain’s efforts to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), commending mandatory precautionary measures to protect people’s health and safety.
