Southern Governor hosts weekly Majlis

Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa today hosted his weekly Majlis at the Southern Governorate. Dignitaries, citizens, senior officials and Interior Ministry’s officers attended. The governor extended sincerest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, on the 18th Anniversary of the endorsement of the National Action Charter (NAC). HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali affirmed that the NAC has played a key role in pushing the kingdom’s progress march forward, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless Bahrain with ever-lasting security and stability. The governor highlighted the effective role of direct communication with the citizens during his weekly Majlis, stressing the importance of meeting the citizens to get informed about their remarks and meet their needs. This rapprochement reflects the Bahraini society’s cohesion, as well as deep-rooted traditions and distinguished qualities, he said. Those present expressed their pride in HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and their appreciation of his efforts to achieve development across the Southern Governorate, in addition to his role in implementing initiatives and service projects across the governorate.
