Southern Governor inspects Buhair, Hajiyat

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa paid an inspection visit to Buhair and Hajiyat as part of his field visits to various regions in the governorate. The Southern Governor got informed about the main achievements made in the services field which were submitted earlier as recommendations to the relevant ministries. He directed the Engineering and Investment Service Directorate at the governorate to follow up on the services and environmental needs. He also inspected the infrastructure and environmental situation, stressing the importance to maintain communication with citizens to follow up on their needs and cater for them. The Southern Governor affirmed that field visits play a key role in facilitating coordination with the competent authorities to further boost citizens' welfare.
