Southern Governor meets with Japanese Foreign Minister

Tokyo, Mar. 25 (BNA): Within the framework of an official visit to Japan, Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa met with Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono, in the presence of Bahraini Ambassador to Japan Ahmed Al Dusari and Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Hideki Ito. The Japanese Foreign Minister hailed the visit of the Southern Governor and his accompanying delegation to Japan which reflects deep-rooted relations of friendship and cooperation between both countries. He praised the advanced level of the Southern Governorate in Bahrain and its hosting of vital projects and programmes, wishing the visit every success in serving both countries and peoples. The Southern Governor lauded the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He underscored deep-rooted relations between Bahrain and Japan and their perpetual growth at all levels. He also pointed out the role of the Southern Governorate in the kingdom’s development process, stressing its numerous accomplishments in various fields.
