Southern Governor meets Kyoto Governor

Tokyo, Mar.29 (BNA): Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa met Governor of Kyoto Prefecture Takatoshi Nishiwaki, as part of his official visit to Japan. He stressed keenness on developing cooperation between the Southern Governorate and Kyoto in all fields, particularly economic and cultural sectors, underlining the importance of exchanged visits to bolster joint ties. He highlighted the potential of the Southern Governorate, the largest in Bahrain, hosting major projects, enterprises and mega events and initiatives, being a tourism destination thanks to its long-standig history and culture. Governor of Kyoto Prefecture Takatoshi Nishiwaki welcomed the visit of HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, stressing keenness on strengthening cooperation. He underlined his country’s interest in setting up full partnership with the Kingdom of Bahrain, hailing the advance level of joint coordination and cooperation, which contributed to expanding bilateral relations. He commended the efforts exerted by HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa to further strengthen joint ties and expand cooperation between the two friendly countries.
