Southern Governor praises Bahrain-Japan solid relations

Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of Bahrain-Japan Friendship Society, met virtually today with the society’s President, Nasser Al-Arayadh, and members as well as representatives of the Japanese companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain. HH the Southern Governor underscored strong bilateral relations and their perpetual growth thanks to the support of the leaderships and their keenness to further bolster bilateral cooperation to achieve the aspirations of the two friendly peoples. He said relations between the two friendly countries are witnessing perpetual development thanks to the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the esteemed government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa underlined keenness on boosting relations between both countries to achieve common goals and interests mainly in the economic, investment and cultural fields. He got informed about plans of the Japanese companies in the industrial and banking sector in Bahrain, praising growing relations between the two friendly countries. HH the Southern Governor was also briefed about the society’s programmes for this year, lauding its role in promoting cultural and economic exchange. For his part, the society President commended keenness and follow-up of HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa on plans of the Bahrain-based Japanese companies and the support accorded to the society’s functions this year.
