Speaker affirms depth of Bahraini-Jordanian relations

Manama, Dec. 26 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, has affirmed the depth of the long-standing fraternal Bahraini-Jordanian relations thanks to the unwavering care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdulla II ibn Al-Hussain of Jordan, praising the steady progress of bilateral ties at all levels. While receiving here today the Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain, Rami Saleh Al-Adwan, Speaker Al-Musallam expressed pride in the role played by Jordan in achieving regional and global security, stability and peace, as well as in strengthening joint Arab action. Ambassador Saleh Al-Adwan, the Dean of Diplomatic Corps in the kingdom, congratulated Speaker Al-Musallam on his election to his post. he also conveyed to him the greetings of the Speaker of Jordan's House of Representatives, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Safadi, on the same occasion. He also affirmed his country's desire to enhance its relations with Bahrain and consolidate joint Arab action.
