Speaker condemns terror blast targeting tourist bus in Egypt

Manama, May 20 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal sent to her Egyptian counterpart Dr. Ali Abdul A’al a cable condemning the blast which targeted a tourist bus near the Grand Egyptian Museum, in Giza. She wished a speedy recovery for those who were injured in the incident. The Representatives Council Speaker affirmed solidarity with Egypt in fighting terrorism, pointing out support to all measures taken to maintain Egypt’s security and stability. She also underlined the need for concerted efforts as well as parliamentary and international action to root out terrorism and dry its funding sources. The Representatives Council Speaker sent a similar cable to Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Suha Ibrahim Refa’at.
