Speaker condoles with Jordan on terrorist attack

Manama, Dec. 22 (BNA): Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam held a phone call with Jordanian House of Representatives Speaker Ahmed Safadi. Al Musallam affirmed support and solidarity with Jordan in its war against terrorism to preserve the country's security, and stability and eliminate expiatory extremists. He expressed his condolences and sympathy to the Jordanian Monarch, government, and people over the martyrdom of three police officers during a security raid in Ma’an governorate on the headquarters of a terrorist group. The Speaker prayed Allah the almighty to provide patience to all families of victims, wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured. Al Musallam stressed Bahrain’s parliamentary position in condemning all forms and images of violence, extremism, and terrorism, and the importance of strengthening international parliamentary cooperation.
