Speaker congratulates Al Asoumi on Arab Parliament anniversary

Manama, Dec. 10 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal sent a cable of congratulations to Arab Parliament Speaker, HE Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoumi, marking the annual anniversary of the Arab Parliament. She praised the outstanding role of the Arab Parliament Speaker in supporting Arab unity in various fields, pointing out contribution of the Arab parliaments in light of the current regional and international changes and challenges facing the Arab nation, which require solidarity to handle them. The Representatives Council Speaker lauded the achievements of the Arab Parliament throughout its history and its contribution to settling issues, promoting Arab parliamentary cooperation and representing the Arab countries in various events and international organisations.
