Speaker congratulates Bahrain leadership

Manama, Oct. 29 (BNA): Speaker of the Representatives Council, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Bahrain’s winning of the presidency of the Executive Committee of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer for the year 2022. Deemed the first Gulf achievement of its kind since the ratification of Montreal Protocol in 1987, the Representatives Council Speaker commended the support and follow-up of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. She also lauded the continuous efforts of Personal Representative of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Environment, His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The Representatives Council Speaker also congratulated HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa on the accomplishment.
