Speaker congratulates Jordanian counterpart

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has congratulated Abdul Muneim Odat on his election as Speaker of Jordan’s House of Representatives. In her cable, Zainal wished her Jordanian counterpart every success, affirming the keenness of the Representatives Council to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries and peoples across various fields, in light of the deep-rooted bilateral relations, and in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Majesty King Abdulla II of Jordan. The speaker lauded the role of Jordan’s House of Representatives in supporting joint parliamentary action and all Arab, Islamic and humanitarian issues at regional and international gatherings.
