Speaker congratulates Omani, Moroccan counterparts

Manama, Nov. 17 (BNA): Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal sent two cables of congratulations to Chairman of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman, Shaikh Khalid bin Hilal bin Nasser Al Mawali, and Shaikh Abdul Malik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Omani Chairman of State Council, on Oman’s National Day. The speaker praised the high level reached by the joint relations, wishing Omani people further progress and prosperity. She sent a similar cable to Dr. Mohammad bin Ali bin Abdullah Al Balushi, Omani Chargé d'Affairs in Bahrain. Zainal sent two cables of congratulations to Speaker of the Moroccan Upper House Naam Miyara, and Speaker of the Chamber of Representatives Rachid Talbi Alami, on Morocco Independence Day. She noted the depth of the historical ties between the two kingdoms, wishing Moroccan people further progress, prosperity. The speaker also sent a similar cable to Moroccan Ambassador to Bahrain Mustapha Benkhayi.
