Speaker discusses joint parliamentary action with Jordanian counterpart

Manama, July 6 (BNA): Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal held a phone call with Jordanian Parliament Speaker Abdulmon'em Saleh Al-Odat. They discussed ways of bilateral cooperation, activating joint action, and building on advanced relations between the two kingdoms under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II. The speaker praised the depth of the Bahraini-Jordanian relations and the steady progress they are witnessing, stressing the importance of enhancing parliamentary cooperation in the interest of the two countries and peoples. She noted the firm stances of Jordan in supporting the security and stability of Bahrain and the solidarity and support it shows in all circumstances, which reflects the close ties based on the principle of common destiny. The Jordanian Speaker expressed his pride in the permanent coordination on various regional and international issues between the two countries, praising the solidarity positions of Bahrain’s leadership, government and people with Jordan.
