Speaker hails Bahraini-Chinese relations

Manama, Apr. 17(BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Fawziya bint Abdulla Zainal hailed strong relations of friendship binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and China. She underlined the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Chinese President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping on bolstering bilateral relations and expanding cooperation. The Speaker sent a cable of congratulations to Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on the 30th anniversary of the Bahraini-Chinese diplomatic ties. She underlined parliamentary keenness on developing legislative cooperation and bolstering the role of joint friendship committees and coordinating stances in regional, continental and international arenas. She underlined the stance of the Council of Representatives, supporting economic and investment projects.
