Speaker hails HM King’s keynote speech on Commemoration Day

Manama, Dec.17(BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, hailing his care for the families of the fallen heroes and the commemoration, on December 17 every year, of their sacrifices for Bahrain’s security and stability. “The Commemoration Day is a tribute to the fallen heroes, who embodied the loftiest image of sacrifice, loyalty and belonging, and became a source of pride for the homeland, and a role model for its present and future generations”, she said. She praised the keynote speech which was delivered by HM the King during the Commemoration Day at Al-Sakhir Palace, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. “Celebrating the memory of our honorable and brave Bahraini martyrs is a source of pride for all of us and a catalyst to to continued serving the national and showing the spirit of patriotism”, she said. The Speaker saluted the armed forces and security agencies which represent the cornerstone of Bahrain’s comprehensive development, led by HM the King.
