Speaker offers condolences over passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II

Manama, Sept. 13 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has offered condolences to the UK Royal Family and people, following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. While visiting the residence of the British Ambassador to Bahrain, Roderick Drummond. today, Speaker Fawzia Zainal, asserted that the world has lost an influential symbolic leader. She commended the pivotal role played by the late HM Queen Elizabeth II to enhance rapprochement between Bahrain and her country, expressing her confidence that cooperation between the two countries will continue during the reign of His Majesty Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Head of the Commonwealth. The Representatives Council Speaker also affirmed the depth of the long-standing relations between the two friendly kingdoms, as well as their ongoing cooperation and coordination in various fields.
