Speaker praises Bahraini-Libyan relations

Manama, Apr. 4 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has lauded the solid brotherly relations and distinguished cooperation between Bahrain and Libya, as well as the distinguished strong ties between their brotherly peoples. The speaker was speaking as she received here today the outgoing Libyan Ambassador to Bahrain, Fawzy El-Tahir Ahmed Abdul-A'ali. Zainal commended the efforts exerted by the ambassador throughout his tenure to enhance bilateral relations, wishing him every success in his future assignments. The Libyan ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to the Legislative Branch for its efforts to strengthen bilateral relations, which, he said, has facilitated his diplomatic duties. He wished the kingdom further progress and prosperity during the era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
