Speaker praises royal support to sport movement

Manama, Mar. 15 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal praised the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the sport movement in Bahrain, describing it as the catalyst of the kingdom’s achievements locally and internationally. She hailed the royal patronage of horse races which reflect the kingdom’s heritage and the history of Arabian horses. The Representatives Council Speaker extended thanks and respect to HM the King for patronizing the horse racing festival held on His Majesty the King’s Cups. She congratulated Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and all the winners, hailing the outstanding role of Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in developing the youth and sport movement in Bahrain. She also lauded the efforts of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club in ensuring good organisation of the event.
