Speaker praises solid Bahraini-French relations

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has expressed Bahrain’s pride in the depth of its solid friendship relations with France, and the steady growth of cooperation between them at all levels, and in all fields. She was speaking as she received here today the newly-appointed French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jérôme Cauchard, whom she wished every success in carrying out his duties of strengthening relations between the two countries and their friendly peoples. The speaker underlined the Representatives Council’s keenness to enhance parliamentary cooperation with its French counterpart, through coordinating stances at international parliamentary gatherings, and opening up new horizons of Bahraini-French cooperation, especially in the fields of future sciences and digital economy.
