Speaker receives Arab Child Parliament Speaker

Manama, Aug. 2 (BNA): Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal received Ritaj Ibrahim Al Abbasi, a student from Al Hidd Secondary School for Girls, for winning the presidency of the Arab Child Parliament in its second session. The speaker congratulated the student for this honorable achievement that is added to the Kingdom’s international achievements, praising the high attention from the government headed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the Bahraini youth by providing them with all the necessary capabilities and support to achieve their aspirations and highlight their talents, enabling them to serve their community and represent their country abroad. Zainal affirmed the parliament’s keenness to enhance parliamentary culture among all segments of society, especially the youth, noting that the parliament continues to provide programs and activities to raise societal awareness about parliamentary work. Representatives Council Member and Woman and Child Affairs Committee Chairperson Kaltham Al Hayki, and Women and Child Affairs Committee Vice-Chairperson Bader Al Dossari were present.
