Speaker receives Egyptian ambassador

Manama, Dec. 26 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam praised strong fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt, mainly in the parliamentary and diplomatic field. He asserted that the Bahraini-Egyptian relations are a model to emulate thanks to the visions and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi. The Speaker of the Council of Representatives was speaking as he received today Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Yasser Mohammed Shaban. They discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation mainly in the parliamentary field. The Egyptian ambassador congratulated the Speaker of the Council of Representatives on the trusted bestowed on him by members of the Council of Representatives, lauding solid ties binding the two countries and peoples. He also commended development and prosperity in the Kingdom of Bahrain in various sectors. The Egyptian ambassador conveyed the greetings of Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives Dr. Hanafy El-Gebali, stressing keenness on boosting bilateral parliamentary cooperation.
