Speaker receives EU Delegation Head

Manama, Feb. 21 (BNA): Council Representatives Speaker Fawzia Abdullah Zainal today received Head of EU Delegation, Ambassador Michele Cervone d'Urso. The Speaker said the royal reforms have consolidated the state of law and institutions, freedoms, rights and responsibilities and the launching of many initiatives in the field of tolerance and peaceful coexistence. She highlighted Bahrain’s keenness to promote cooperation with the EU, chiefly in economic and investment areas, in addition to boosting efforts to maintain regional stability and countering terrorism.
