Speaker receives French ambassador

Manama, Feb. 17 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, received today French Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jérôme Cauchard. They reviewed relations between the two friendly countries and discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in the parliamentary field. They also discussed issues of common concern. The Representatives Council Speaker took pride in strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and France and their perpetual growth in light of the development march led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The French ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation of his meeting with the Representatives Council Speaker, praising development of parliamentary work in Bahrain. He also stressed his country’s keenness to boost joint cooperation at all levels.
