Speaker receives Sudan's Foreign Minister

Manama, July 28 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has affirmed the depth of the Bahraini-Sudanese relations, noting that the solid bilateral ties enjoy the interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Speaker highlighted the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to broaden cooperation with Sudan, reiterating Bahrain’s firm supportive stance towards sisterly Sudan’s security and prosperity, as well as for enhancing joint Arab action. Zainal was speaking while receiving here today the Sudanese Foreign Minister, Dr. Mariam Al-Mansoora Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi. Sudan’s Foreign Minister expressed thanks and appreciation to the Speaker for the Representatives Council’s keenness to enhance Bahraini-Sudanese relations. She also lauded the strides made by Bahraini women, under the comprehensive development march spearheaded by HM the King.
