Speaker receives UK Ambassador

Manama, July 9 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal today received the outgoing Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Simon Martin. The Speaker lauded the depth of the Bahrain-UK relations and keenness of the two kingdoms to constantly promote them in various fields in the interest of the two countries and their peoples. She congratulated the Ambassador on receiving the Order of Bahrain conferred on him by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in recognition of his efforts to boost the bilateral relations during his tenure, wishing him success in his future diplomatic missions. Ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation were also discussed to bring more achievements in the prosperous era of HM the King.
