Speaker reiterates full solidarity with Egypt

Manama, Feb. 19 (BNA): Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal sent a cable of condolences to Egyptian Speaker Dr. Ali Abdelaal over the victims of terrorist explosion near Al Azhar Al Shareef Mosque in the Egyptian capital Cairo which claimed the lives of security personnel and injured others. Zainal expressed deep condolences to the families of victims, wishing those injured a speedy healing. She reiterated full parliamentary support to all the measures Egypt takes to combat such criminal acts of terrorism that violated all religious and civilizational principles as well as international conventions, to safeguard its national security and stability. The Bahraini speaker also sent a similar cable to Ambassador of Egypt to Bahrain, Suha Ibrahim Mohammed Rifaat.
