The Speaker thanks HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa

Manama, Dec.13(BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Fouzia Abdulla Zainal sent a cable of thanks to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President, in reply to a cable of congratulations as the first woman to hold this position by free and direct elections. The Speaker paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for his support which empowered Bahraini women to assume their national responsibilities fully. She took pride in the crucial role played by the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), led by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa. She pledged to spare no effort, with other lawmakers, to use all constitutional and legal instruments to support all that bolsters Bahrain’s progress and prosperity, maintains its security and stability, consolidates its advanced ranking in the field of sustainable human development and achieves citizens’ aspirations. The Speaker wished HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa abundant health, happiness and well-being.
