Speaker welcomes Brazilian President's visit to Bahrain

Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has stressed the depth and strength of the friendly Bahraini-Brazilian relations, expressing pride in the level reached by those ties, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and President Jair Bolsonaro. The speaker made the statements marking the arrival of the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, to Bahrain today on an official visit. She welcomed the visit of the kingdom’s distinguished guest, wishing him and his accompanying delegation a happy stay in their second country, Bahrain. She praised President Bolsonaro’s attendance of the ceremony held by the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence to launch the “Kingdom of Bahrain Declaration” in South America from Brazil, noting that the move affirms the keenness of the two friendly countries to enhance their relations and work together to promote harmony, peace and coexistence all over the world.
